Read on another forum that some hospitals don’t share blood. What can be done in this type situation?
“IF you are one of the ever so many that does not have the most common of blood types….there is a most strong chance that PRIVATE hospital ain’t got your blood type and these private places do NOT share back and forth with the Caja hospitals. NO LIE. I now know of THREE instances where people bled to death in the private facilities because them places done runned out of BLOOD and the public facilities, which had what was needed, did NOT share. Oh, yeah…if you wanna take a chance on the “universal blood type”, be my guest.”
Thanks for your information – This topic is on my “must get more information” list …
I have blood type B- which is only 1.7% of the population but if I understand it correctly, I can accept the more common blood types.
