Here is an excerpt from article on the internet dated 2004. ” Clinica Bíblica , in downtown San José, is now affiliated with the Blue Cross-Blue Shield network. By 2005 they expect to be affiliated with Medicare.” Does anyone kmow for a fact if the Clinica is affilated BCBS and now with Medicare?
Thanks,
Manny
Not sure about BCBS but it’s a no on the Medicare part.
Thanks for your reply.

As for BCBS or United Health, they will only cover emergency care. Cima also makes mention on their website, when I e-mailed the billing dept. at Cima strangely no reply was given. But both companies informed me that only emergency care is covered.
Holab,
Thanks for your research on question.

Bc/BS of Michigan has informed us that they’ll cover “unforseen events” outside the U.S. but only for U.S. residents. I think this can vary by plan, so if you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage you should check your plans’s specifics.
Thanks davidcmurray for the information.
