    On my last trip to the Quepos area, someone mentioned the absolutely best bug repellent that really works. My wife and I always seem to get bitten up. Does anyone know what that is?

    That may have been the Avon skin so soft.

    I think Lotus is right. There was a lot of buzz about it in CR a decade ago, so much so that Avon rebranded it as a bug repellant.

    It could also be “Cactus Juice” which I’ve tried and it’s pretty effective and non-toxic. Even smells really good.
