We are a Canadian building company that is looking to relocate to CR. We build high end homes and condo’s and we are looking for advice on Pacific coast developments that we can aquire lots in. We prefare ocean view lots as we are interested in the upper end of the market. We also build to others designs.

(single-family, attached, detached, villas, townhomes, zero lot-line?) Additionally, if you’re planning to build spec homes in CR, you must have customers in mind that may be interested in specific price points. Just like anywhere else, the land cost along with your overhead and construction costs will determine your selling prices. At what price point would you like your finished product to be? This will determine the type and price range of lots you will want to consider.

Since 1992, I have been inspecting properties throughout Costa Rica to determine if the sites are suitable for the desired housing product. Following my inspections, I then detail the methods and costs of construction to properly complete the desired housing or needed improvements in order to satisfy the local building regulations as well as up to the standards of the owner.

2000-4500 sq. ft
Must have view , pre-fare ocean
Must have all services
Detached
Close to normal facilities such as medical and stores
Zero lot line not not acceptable
Single family
Town homes if lot suits
At this time we are still reseaching market and price line, the first homes we build will be show homes and office for our company. We have enjoyed success by showing off our product and having the abilty to change base design to suit clients.March 1, 2008 at 10:14 pm #189631AndrewKeymasterWhat it is it exactly that you are asking here in the Discussion Forum?
March 1, 2008 at 10:47 pm #189632jdMemberI think it would actually be a good idea for you to visit Costa Rica first. By what you are writing it seems like you have not ever been to CR yet. Am I right?
