    A new on-line building permit system is working in 90% of municipalities throughout Costa Rica with links to all institutions involved in the construction process.

    After December 20, 2102, the old paper application system will be eliminated.

    Will this make the overall process quicker?

    Cheaper?

    More prone to “computer errors?

    I have a hard time figuring out how the mountain of documents that need to be organized and submitted to obtain building permits can be transmitted on-line. However, I’m a low tech guy in a high tech world.
