Hi there! My husband and I recently recently found a wonderful coffee farm (about 10 acres) in the San Isidro de General area with the help of Victor Guererro, WeLoveCostaRica.com’s recommended realtor for this area. The price was excellent and the views “to-die-for.” The elevation of the farm is approximately 3400 ft above sea level–the climate is perfect. The nearest town is San Rafael de San Pedro.
I would definitely contact Victor if you are interested in this area. He is HONEST, quite knowledgeable, speaks English and perfect Spanish. He is so patient and you can tell he loves his job and Costa Rica by his extreme enthusiasm. He practically held our hands through the entire process and recommended an attorney in town (Randall Sanchez) who
handled the closing flawlessly.
Hope this helps!

We just bought land south of San Isidro … Went through alot of fincas and a few realtors. The best realtor, by far, is Diego Quesada!

We just bought a property there as well (Santa Theresa). Perhaps we’ll be neighbors? Congrats on your purchase. Hope to see over the backyard fence!

Hello Claytonmax 41 and dbraase!
So happy to hear from a few of my “compadres!” Just an update: we’ve contracted to have a gravel road put in through the property along with the appropriate drainage ditches–the project is about half way completed. We thought the timing was right just before the rainy season. Plan is to hopefully build a home within a year’s time. It’s exciting to know that we will have neighbors. I think when the word gets out how beautiful this area is, more people will come! Keep in touch! Regards, Nancy
“Veni, vidi, vici” … we went, saw and bought
My friends and I are now proud owners of 6 “manzanes” in San Francisca de Cajon
Mking54, we might indeed be “vecinos” as we passed by St Theresa to reach San Francisco
