I have also placed a deposit on an ocean view lot. My friend is buying one as well. We still need a lawyer. Can you give us the contact info for yours. We went down there and the people seemed credible and sincere. The land was beautiful, but the grades are steep. The ocean views are not great because it is 3 miles from the ocean but for the money, we thought it was the best deal down there. We are very excited about it and believe it will be a great investment. jim 949-678-2329

I have posted this previously on this site. Check out the owners for yourself. Here are some links I found on costaricapages forum:

This is what I learned about CR Tropicals & Shadd Vickory & Patrick Albright

I’am also in the process of buying in Las Palmas, (CR tropical proprties, they don’t ocean view available now, but was told the other views are even better…for resale value I would have prefered the ocean view, I bought the lots (4), with creeck inside, hope are not in the way of the building pad, I was assure , none of the would be. I would love to have a creek in my yard, even if it is dry at times…Any comments about mountains sites, things to watch for, etc.

I would not buy with creek inside,Wyman was suggesting me those lots but unless I see the possition of creek. I am sure you have an attorney!!!!banco cascutlan de Costa Rica has a lean on this property, but that does not mean anything bad, just you got to know the details.Good Luck!
