I am hoping that the distinguished forum members can offer the answer to my question.
We are at the planning stage before the construction.
We were told that:
1. There is a tax on construction if the area under the roof exceeds 100sq.m. vs total living area.
2. Property tax can also increase substantially depending on the total living area OR the area under the roof.
I was under impression that there is a luxury tax based on the total value of the property – $ 150K – but not not on the area of construction.
Any ideas?I don’t know all of the rules & reg’s but the tax is on construction valued at $200,000 plus, and includes all construction, including, gardens, walkways, pools etc.
Complete…or at least better
