I need the percent increase for my Tico employees that started on January 1, 2008. Today is the first pay day for the new rate.
News Flash!
I found the answer to my own question in the archives the answer is in one of the guest articles by an attorney. https://www.welovecostarica.com/public/436.cfm
The answer is 5.10 percent increase effective January 1, 2008.
Thanks everyone, and sorry for not being more thorough in the archival searches. I was in a bit of a panic to pay our employees today on-time and the correct amount.

As you may have noticed, Labor laws here are NOT simple at all.
I would strongly encourage you to work with a professional attorney when it comes to this, you do NOT want to get involved with any problems with the CAJA etc because you will not win that quarrel.
All it takes is one disgrunteld employee…
