Costa Developers(CD)- Criminal Confiscators of Client’s Properties.
I signed three Purchasing Agreements with CD for three one-hectare lots at Costa Montana Estates(lots # 11,17,18) on April 3rd, 2006.
I paid off the balance on lot # 18 so I could build a house on it. It
has been under construction for over a month now.I paid off lot # 11 in September and received the deed and corporate Papers giving me full ownership and full ownership rights to that property.
On my first visit to # 11 on Sept 27th, I discovered my property had been confiscated and was occupied, with the verbal approval of CD´s COO Jorge Flores, by Tri-Con Construction Co.
This without my consent, authorization, notification or an offer or payment to compensate for this illegal property grab.
Tri-Con Construction, with CD´s COO´s approval, then built seven huge metal structures to house hundreds of workers.
My property now also has: over 200 palates of banded masonry materials; hundreds of cinder blocks haphazardly stacked, three foot concrete drainage tiles along with piles of broken-up wooden palates laying everywhere, over 30 empty six – litre water bottles and numerous signs of other consumable waste products littering my once pristine property.
CD has guaranteed, by their criminal taking of the property rights that were exclusively mine, that the properties I purchased from them haven´t been for over eight months, are not now and never will be in the same condition as the properties as they and their personnel represented them to be and as they were when I agreed to buy them.
October 25, 2007 at 10:35 pm #187537AndrewKeymasterI am very disappointed that you are now so unhappy with Costa Developers especially after you had been so positive about them previously in this Discussion Forum
What are you going to do?

You are now in a legal labyrinth and you can find your way out – but it will cost less in time money and stress if hire a team – and START OF ON THE RIGHT FOOT – Time is not your ally when you are on the offensive in Costa Rica.

October 30, 2007 at 1:20 am #187541DottyMemberI am also building in Costa Montana. We have had no problems and have found them to be honest. I did see the dormitories on your property when I was there. I agree they should have gotten your permission before they did this but I am very curious as to what their response has been to your complaints. Have they offered to compensate you in any way?
January 26, 2008 at 11:18 pm #187542bweidberMemberWe are about to sign a contract with Costa Developers in Costa Reserva. You seem to have had a good experience with them. How do you feel about them now that you have been exposed to the negative experience of some other customers?
