I have heard that costa developers have been shut down by the goverment on both of there pojects.
The info is that they started building building with no approval and SETENA shut them down whitch is a two to three year problem yes or no?
August 21, 2006 at 12:06 am #178274AndrewKeymasterIf it is true ‘infoman’ – I am sure that it is a very serious problem indeed. Can you please show us a source when we can see this news?

WeLoveCostaRica.comAugust 21, 2006 at 5:07 pm #178277AndrewKeymasterI have just received a phone call from someone at Costa Developers who assures me that this is absolutely NOT TRUE.
She assured me that she would post her comments here momentarily
I have adjusted the headline of this thread so that it does not insionuate something that is not true

WeLoveCostaRica.comAugust 23, 2006 at 8:14 pm #178281AndrewKeymasterJeez! What’s a Discussion Forum moderator to do huh?
1. ‘infoman’ has had his membership cancelled for spreading defamatory like news without backing it up with facts – and refusing to answer my polite emails requesting more information. He may be partially correct, but without data to back up his claims, we cannot allow that type of stuff here.
2. ‘brookek,’ the anonymous female who claimed to be working for the marketing company for Costa Developers had a great opportunity to set the record straight here except she couldn’t even remember to tell us her name and exactly ‘who’ she is and ‘what’ she does for Costa Developers. And she uses a distinguished Hotmail email address so goodness knows who she really is…

August 29, 2006 at 6:10 pm #178285arnaldoMemberMy name is Arnaldo Bonilla, Attorney at Law. I am local counsel to Costa Developers in Costa Rica and have represented them since the begining of operations in this Country. I oversee various matters for the company, including the building and permitting process for their projects in Costa Rica. Their engineering firm is also responsible for ensuring that the building process is in compliance with all governmental requirements.
Costa Developers has not had any problems with the authorities. All necessary permits are in place and work has not been stopped at any of their projects. Any claims to the contrary are frivolous and defamatory.
Thank you for allowing me to clarify this issue.
Regards,
Arnaldo Bonilla

Can you conform what involvement Ellis Kahn has in this company Costa Developers because it looks to me like he has had a very ‘colorful’ career and some serious problems in the USA?
He’s mentioned in an article called ‘The Real Boiler Room Hollywood’s International Currency Management specialized in trading foreign currency — and helping clients’ money disappear’ which you can see

Adn also the US government’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission website at
