Can anyone suggest where to buy citronella plants/grass or the other plants that Waggoner41 suggests? The dry season is coming to Guanacaste, more time outdoors, more time for mosquito bites. I’ll be in SJO next week, and I am looking to buy plants soon for planting before the end of the rainy season.

They tend to be hard to find, and are often just passed between neighbors… and you need quite a few plants to keep those pesky insects away.
Also try these: Ageratum (grows wild here) Marigolds, Catnip, Beebalm, Cleome.
