Home › Forums › Costa Rica Living Forum › Costa Rica Rainfall in The South Carribean
One of the many questions I get asked when people inquire about renting the guesthouse is what is the weather like.
Well, my neighbour Charlotte has allowed me to use her chart that has kept records for past 4 years. I have posted it on my website in FAQ section. It is MS Excel doc.
Some facts about rain on Southern Carribean.
Yes, it classifies as a Rain Forest, but actually Manuel Antonio gets slightly more per year. Difference is that Carribean is more spread out through out year.
Much of the rain (well more than 50%) comes at night and clears up early morning.
It might only rain for an hour, but it can mean a whole lot of water therefore looking like it rains a lot on a chart.
Hope this helps for people who are thinking on travelling the Carribean.
