I just called the embassy in D.C. regarding filing residency. They said neither they or the consulates are accepting any applications until further notice. That is until the new laws are straightened out. They don’t know how long this will be. Has anyone else had this problem?
Interesting!
I will ask a residency attorney about this for you and hopefully will post a response by the end of the week.

The embassy in Bern (Switzerland) gave me the same answer!
Was wondering, Scott, if you had heard anything back from the attorney regarding this possible moratorium on residency applications?
