David, I remember reading a few of your posts that discussed obtaining pensionado status in Costa Rica. Can you share with me the name of your attorney that you used in Costa Rica.
Thanks
Bob
Bob, we’ve been very well served by Lic. Romulo Pacheco whose e-mail address is: crlexs@racsa.co.cr. I’m in the U.S. right now and don’t have his phone number. He’s located upstairs in the Casa Canada Building where the ARCR offices are also located. It’s a block from Sabana Park.
Sr. Pacheco has taken excellent care of everyone we’ve referred to him (at least a dozen couples from the U.S. and Canada) and recently shepherded us through the process of getting our cedulas renewed. at Immigration, there were a couple of stumbling blocks along the way, but his assistant, Raul, took care of everything right down to arranging to have our cards mailed to us which saves us going back (worth any price).
If you send Sr. Pacheco e-mail, put something like “Costa Rica Residency” in the subject line so he doen’t mistake it for spam. And know that his English is flawless.
And tell him I sent you.
Dave
