Hola VIP members,
I will be in San Jose area from 4/10/4/17 to look around the area west and south of San Jose for potential property as investment . Since I am coming alone I thought it might be possible to combine my trip with a yoga practice and related activites. Aside from the Pura Vida Spa is anyone aware of other centers that offer room and board along with classes? If I don’t see anything reasonable I will be looking at B&B’s instead as they are usually more reasonable for a single traveler. So recommendations there would be nice as well,
Thanks for your insights 🙂
Kathleen
We have a rental house in Nosara a few minutes walk from the Nosara Yoga Institute, which offers a couple of daily yoga classes that are excellent. We currently have availability if you want to check out http://www.nosaraheartwaves.com
Nosara is the best if you are interested in buying property, an incredible beach and yoga community. We also offer yoga retreats there through http://www.inwardbound.com although not that week.
Hello, thanks for your reply! I have bookmarked your site for future but for one person who is going to be doing a lot of driving around it’s too high for me. Also I need to be closer to San Jose itself. However, I have two friends who have expressed strong interest in coming down so with 3-4 people a house makes more sense and we could enjoy the site more. I will hopefully be in touch later when I plan a “true” vacation,

Please take a moment and look at the Mystica Hotel and Yoga Retreat near Lake Arenal. Wonderful place and people. Not sure of need to be near San Jose but worth the visit. I have stayed there on all my trips to the area.
Thank-you for the info, I have booked a B&B instead. I decided this trip I will be doing too much driving around to take advantage of yoga retreats/spas. Perhaps my next trip 🙂
