One of our VIP Members – costaricabill – who has contributed a great deal of help and advice in our Discussion Forum lost his 37 year old son on 9th April when he was involved in a motorcycle accident back in Florida.

He is now focusing 100% of his time and effort on the wellbeing of his three young grandchildren …

As a father myself, I simply can not imagine the pain he is dealing with and hope that you will join me in wishing him the best and send your loving energy to help him through this long and difficult period….

Please forward my heartfelt feelings of sadness for something like this to happen.

I can not even imagine being in such a position.

Kinda puts stuff in perspective doesn’t it? Makes the bullsh*t bickering about politics, economy, and opinions seem very insignificant compared to what these poor children are facing.

kwhite1, you are absolutely correct. It’s sad that it takes such tragedies to remind us of what’s really important in our lives.

I am so sorry for his tremendous loss.

The intensity of this type of pain can be understood only by those who have gone through the loss of their child – as I did when my son of 28 was killed in similar circumstances. One does not anticipate outliving one’s children. I can truly sympathize.
