Several months ago I read Scott’s article about Dr. Eduardo Loyola and I tried him. He gave me a full anual check-up including blood work, urinalysis and a stress test at CIMA.
The results showed some cholesterol problems and a fairly high diabetes problem. He prescribed some good meds and a month of so later I returned for more blood tests after using the meds. The results were great. Everything is now under control with minimum medications. I think the total including all the lab work and more than 90 minutes with the doctor was about $300.
This was after getting no help at all from the cash machine MDs in Florida for years.
Last week my business partner had a serious stomach infection and I took him to see Dr.Loyola. He happened to be in an air ambulance with a patient when his service reached him but he called back within five minutes.
He met us at the CIMA Emergency Room and within ten minutes Carl was in a bed and receiving fluids from an IV. In two hours he was out and the bill was just under $200. The infection cleared up in three days. Try that in the U.S.
In a nutshell Dr. Loyola is a very warm and friendly guy with a masterful knowlege of medicine in general and he speaks better English than most Americans I know. His charges are amazingly low. After knowing him for only about three months I can tell you that I trust him more than any other doctor I have ever known.
