What is the best way to find a rental? I am having trouble using the Help U Search. Is it best to use a real estate agent? Can you recommend one who is interested in renting, rather than buying (at least not yet). Another problem…..we haven’t really found ‘our spot’ yet. Loved being up on the hill near Manuel Antonio, with a short walk across the street to a beach….and it wasn’t very crowded unless we walked down to the M.A. beaches. We would love to find one like that….not too isolated.
Thanks.
Bonne
Rentals take about as much work as sales but pay much less, so real estate agents are not anxious to be in the rental brokerage business. Probably the best way to find something is to make a reservation at a B&B in an area that you think you’re interested in, get to know the area a little, and begin asking everyone you meet.
I’m assuming you’ve already visited our rental section at:

There are boatloads of rental options and leads on Craigslist as well as other sites. Finding a rental in Costa Rica should be no problem at all as there are a abundance of available options as long as you’re willing to do a little bit of legwork.
