Prompted by scotts posting regarding a scam following on from a real estate advert in For Sale BY Owner Costa Rica Magazine. Have any other members used it for buying or selling and what happened. I ask because I placed an ad for a small condo in Coco to sell about a year ago and only recieved a couple of calls. Now I’m thinking of advertising a house for sale…can anyone give me a success story from advertising in this way.
I look weekly at a website run by Jim and Rene Aoki for sale by owner. Renee is mentioned in another posting so I have copied over their email address, Rico Realty (Ricorealty@hotmail.com). I have watched both of their sites for over two years, had a few emails exchanges with them and plan to visit with them in late May. Also, I talked to someone who has a posting on their for sale by owner site so I think you should check them out. I think they are ok people.
