Looking for a bamboo house builder. Any suggestions?

yes we do have a bamboo house builder to recommend. We are currently wrapping up building a bamboo guest house near San Pedro de Poas. Our builder is Bambuesworks http://www.bambuesworks.com/index.htm. Martin Coto is the owner and his wife Grace helps manage the company. We have been working with them since last July and Martin has a great artistic vision and we’re pleased with how the project is turning out. Of course as with any project you need to ensure that the contract is detailed and you have an ongoing discussion during the process so there are no surprises. Good luck with your project.

Any experience with bugs in Bamboo homes ?

Normally wood structures are more inviting to bugs then concrete houses.
Same might happen with bamboo, you have to fumigate regularely, or get used to all kind of bugs.
