That is a puzzler, Jerry. I took it to mean that you could save lost souls without having to live like a refugee, that there is no connection between success in saving souls and living comfortably.
I dunno . . .
hahaha.. again, I don’t want to disrespect missionary’s because some do a lot of work and help many people. How ever it is just a observation with the ones that I have met. I have not met any that live in the poor neighborhoods but I have met alot of them that live in the upper class areas. Most of course take advantage of Costa Rica’s status as a safe country and use it as the jumping points to other country. Its just funny because when you ask a person in the U.S. they would most likely think that the missionary are taking a hard hit to live in another country to work on their mission. Not understanding that they are most likely living far above the average Tico. 🙂
