Thanks to a posting by Caladana, here is the site for Amnesty International reports on the countries on their watch list. The report on the U.S. is quite long and quite damning. There is also a report on the UK, not too flattering either.

Of course, Costa Rica is not on the watch list. The more I know about this amazing little country in Central America, the more I admire it. Petty theft and poverty are still big problems in CR but considering the other big problems in the world,these I can live with.
