I was able to get a bank account without a cedula

I have not applied for residency and I set up a personal bank account at Banco National using my passport. I have an SA but am not operating my business yet and was told to wait until I do to open a business account.

What kind of an account did you open? A savings account? Did you get a debit card with that account? I have my corporate account at Banex, from which I could pay all my bills, but I wanted a personal account with a debit card. Did you get that at BN?

We have personal savings accounts at Banco Nacional (both dollar and colon) and at Banex (dollar only. At both, we have debit cards.
