Hello, I was wondering what ideas are out for the best way to get from San Jose to Quepos if I miss the last plane out. I will have an hour between my scheduled arrival time and the last flight at 1:30, this Saturday, June 11th. I’m o.k. with the idea of driving, but was wondering if anyone out there knows how easy it is to get a reliable one way rental at the last minute without making reservations. Perhaps I won’t be the only one missing that flight, and I can get a car pool going.Any ideas or suggestions will be great, thanks.
Alamo rent a car has offices in the airport and in Quepos. They are extremely helpful and go out of their way to service you.
Visa may pick up most of your insurance costs.
The drive is nice as long as there’s no trafic snafu’s.
Driving in CR is a great joy and I would recommend it. Kenny S>A tourist bus will also take you there for alot cheaper.
