Hi
I bought some land 5 years back and just researched online that I owe a whopping $2700 in property taxes that accumulated over this period. Anyone have an idea how much of a fine they will put on this annually if it goes unpaid as I will need a bank loan to pay this off as I just dont have it. Appreciate your feedback
Owen
This amount already includes a fine. If you don´t pay they will eventually put a lien on your property and one day take it. You can go to your municipality and ask for a payment plan. No idea if they offer such things.. I would go ASAP.
ok tks Elisabeth, I will get going on that so
If you speak Spanish and live outside the central hellhole, go see the mayor. He can, and likely will, hook you up.
We had a dipstick up this way that did the same thing. The mayor hooked him up. The fines are +/- double what the taxation is.
