Somebody told me recently that the latest tourist numbers for C R are down 30 per cent. Can anyone verify that they are that bad, seems a bit much.

I would suggest that the 30% you have been quoted is a wild guess …. It may be applicable at the end of 2009 looking back but right now, the most recent official tourism stats’ are in the above article.
