I understand that it is against CR law to interfere with someone’s employment. True or false
What does that mean though VictoriaT?
“Interfere with someone’s employment?”
Scott
Sent negative information and lies to the employer in an attempt to get the employee fired
Damned right that’s “illegal.”
It’s defamation and slander and in Costa Rica those are serious criminal offences.
Then I need a good attorney 🙂
Not sure of your situation Victoria but be aware just because people bring information to light that we’d rather not have become public doesn’t meet the legal requirement to take action against them. Attempting to go after someone for doing so might very well open you up to an action against you that WILL result in legal ramifications you might not have anticipated.
Oh the information is already public but it’s lies… A very very VERY long story
You can see my experience with defamation and slander here, here and here.
