Living in Atenas

Are there any retirees living in Atenas who take part in this forum? We are in Atenas this week, have looked at some homes with Jeff Hickox, and would like to talk to others like us about their day-to-day life. We are going with George Lundquist on Sunday, but we had an interest in Atenas and would like to make contact with someone here. Thanks.

Hello,

Yes I do live in Atenas with my wife but only half time and we are not retirees. I would be happy to help but we have not been here very long. We are newbies. If you are interested, I can hook you up with our neighbors, A retired couple that are Biologists from the states that have a bird watching business. Or your welcome to join us Saturday night, My Wife and I are going out with some Tico friends to experience a local night club. We have been told that there is a wide age group there, we will probably be the only Gringos. There is also Kay’s Gringo Cafe, I can’t tell you much about it, but I know they serve food, and heard its a hangout for Gringos. We have only been there once, and that was for a meeting point.
