Lets amplify the shakti ! I am entertaining the idea of putting together a small meditation group or sanga. The intent is for regular sits, in order to create a space for deepening ones own meditation via group energy/shakti for the purpose of spreading enlightened consciousness throughout the world.
If interested please respond. This most likely should be an advanced meditation group as the physical space is limited. lets talk !
Peace

The anticipated location will be in the Escazu area in the proximity of the cemetary aka Rosa Linda area. Specific location will be given once group is formed.
Peace

May 1, 2007 at 2:53 pm #182309juliefergMemberHola, I am a new member (joined just now) and have found this site very useful. I got onto it via VirtualTourist.com
We run a B & B here in France centered on personal development and spirituality. We are coming to CR on the 10 May with the idea of looking for a larger but similar place to run our expanding activities. I have read the forum posts on B & B’s and found it all very interesting and helpful. Then I find the interest in meditation.
I would love to hear if there is much interest in this form of spirituality/personal development/holistic health from both Gringos and Ticos. Is there a place in the Central Valley that is more propice for this type of activity. If anyone knows of property for sale that would be suitable for this then please don’t hesitate to let me know.
I look forward to hearing from Scott and anyone, and, if at all possible meeting or sharing sacred space during our short visit very soon.
warm regards,
JulieMay 1, 2007 at 3:32 pm #182310AndrewKeymasterI don’t honestly know if there is much interest Julie.
For me, meditation is an invaluable, very private activity and I have always been convinced that if we taught meditation seriously in schools, we would have only 5% of the problems we have right now.
Unfortunately, on our present path, it would appear that we are racing towards total self-annihilation.
As for a suitable property – wchich should purchased before the end of the world – you might want to take a look at
PS. I am just about to finish reading ‘The Monk and the Philosopher’ by two Frenchmen – Father, Jean-Francois Revel (philosopher) and his son Matthiew Ricard (Buddhist monk) Matthiew Ricard which is fantastic.
Best wishes
