The Beach Times, a Guanacasta paper, had articles on 7-16-2004,5-20-2005,8-19-2005 and 6-02-2006 related to this project which apparently is still in the planning stages.
Right now there is debate on a 14 kilometer section from Flamingo to Playa de Cocos; The whole project is supposed to be 460 kilometers. So basicly this project has’nt gotten off the ground yet and as it progresses debates will rage in local communities.
