sprite — there are things available that are not as toxic and damaging to human and animal life, as well as the water supply and the environment, as Round-up. A vinegar solution will kill weeds and lots of farmers use a soap solution. i had a big fight with my gardener over round-up. it is NOT allowed on my property. it is a very toxic chemical and causes all kinds of health problems. just google it — you don’t need me to tell you — the research is there.

Vinegar and soap? I’ll look into that. I could sell the idea to my guy by asking him to not put on the ground anything he would not want on or in his own body…….because that is where everything put on the ground ends up anyway.
February 21, 2012 at 2:57 pm #168550maravillaMemberthere is an industrial vinegar that’s available. the farmer next to me was out pumping stuff all over his veggies one day and i nearly went ballistic on him for using pesticides and he explained thta he was using a soap and water mixture that works just as well as a toxic substance. it’s worth doing the research because this round-up pollution is completely out of control — not just in CR, but worldwide. there was a study done recently that said 60% of everyone they tested had round-up in their blood or urine. it causes birth defects, infertility, and a host of other problems not just for us but for animals as well. if you care even a smidgen about the world you live in, it will be worth your time to investigate ways in which to mitigate this poisoning of our planet.

Another article that some may have already, read 🙄
I have ‘PM’ed’ maravilla in the past about a property that uses RoundUp extensively.
Where and what would one ask for to get tested here, for exposure for RoundUp?

the question is whether a lab here would be able to test for glyphosate in a urine sample.
