Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to search the National Registry using a name and passport number in order to find out what corporations they own?
Thanks
I don’t believe that is possible Paula but must confess that I have not visited the site for a while and there have been quite a few changes since….
Might be important to remember that many people will hold assets in a corporation and their wife/husband will be the signatory to avoid having their own name there so not sure that you would find what you are looking for ….

It’s not possible to search the National Registry at the moment to determine the Shareholder(s) (owner(s)) of a Costa Rican Corporation, although there is legislation pending where this may be possible in the future. It is possible to conduct a search to determine who the Directors of a Corporation are, but this, of course, does not determine ownership of the Corporation.

you can type in a name or Id. and you can find out in which corporations they are members (president, fiscal etc.) but you can not find out if they are shareholders.
