New Blackberry Service in CR

Tico Times article says ICE will offer a new Blackberry service. Does this sound like a good telephone/internet option in CR. If so, should I buy a new Blackberry while I am still in the states. Can this device get my PC on line?

Well, thats just not true. I use a Blackberry for email, web surfing, etc. It has nothing really to do with the Blackberry, it has to do with the network and the kinds of service and speeds offered.

If you do by it in the states you will have to have it un-locked if you want it to work with a CR sim card.

If it’s a new service implemented by ICE – Wait! It takes them a couple of years or more to bring themselves up to speed, with anything new or old for that matter.
