In July, returning from Jaco to the SJO airport, the actual turnoff for accessing the new highway was pointed out to me. [Coyel?]
So leaving SJO I take the turnoff and loop back over the overpass to connect to the new highway.
Can anyone describe this road and name the town(s) or area it traverses taking me to the new highway.
I have yet to see a detailed map with this town shown.
Can anyone comment on how congested the connection road becomes at rush-hour/weekends?
you cannot get on the new highway until you get to oritina…you run right into it …no problem…it runs for maybe 10-15 miles then turns back into the old road…there is one toll booth which is 380 colones…so when you leave the airport use the old road thru atenas then on to oritina….suppose to be finished by the end of this year but I wouldnt count on it…
