one word: PONZI!
Incorrect! A Ponzi scheme involves using later investors money to pay back earlier investors, thereby self-sustaining the whole scheme. Paragon never gave anybody anything!
I beg to differ. Paragon did refund some $ to disgruntled clients, thereby, paying off Peter to pay Paul, thereby self-sustaining the whole scheme-until they ran out of $.
Texas is right. a few years ago, some people who screamed really loudly got a refund of the $25,000 they had to put down just to have the privilege of viewing a lot. so, yes, it was a ponzi not much different than the bernie madoff-with-your-cash scheme.
Thank you….Some folks put down more than $25K-others paid off their property at a 25% discount & got deeds? & corp papers. What a mess.Folks who put up $ with Paragon & folks who paid off their property-seek legal advice, seek US federal advice, the broken wheel gets fixed……..hope so….

I stand corrected! At least Madoff paid the early investors who headed for the exits their principal plus gains …let’s hope someone visits our friend Mr. Gale in the night (and Madoff too for that matter).
