Does anyone know of a Pontoon Boat Dealer in CR?
Old Griz
We have one on the east coast in the canals that we’re using for tours through the jungle and the national park. We’re just getting started so the boat and website aren’t the way we want them yet. I’ve seen several boats like ours in the canals there and I’m told a guy near Parismina welds them. I was at his place once to look at some of the boats he makes but I’m not in Costa Rica right now. I’ll ask my daughter (who lives there) if she can get the name. The problem for you would be trasporting it unless you plan to use it on the East coast?
We will be living in the Arenal area. If I have to import a pontoon boat, I will have to pay import duties and still have to transport the boat to Arenal.
Thanks for your reply and hopefully a solution.

Hi Dave:
Keep an eye on this thread. I haven’t heard back from my daughter yet as to the contact info for the boat builder who made our pontoon boat. Her (Costa Rican) boyfriend is out of town and should be back today. He should be able to get that for you. You can either post an email address or check back here and I’ll post the contact info as soon as I get it.
