Forgive me for editing the title of your thread but your username doesn’t mean much to most people when they are searching for specific information.
There are thousands of reasonably priced property prices in many parts of Costa Rica.
Most of the people that I know complain about real estate prices because they are looking at the real estate in English that was created by English speaking marketing people who want you to buy properties from them in the ‘hot’ areas where English speaking people live so that they can make sales commissions.
Obviously the higher the price the property, the higher commission they make… There is nothing wrong with that but, if you are looking for affordable real estate, there are very few Realtors that will help you so sometimes you have to go touring about and find it for yourself.

There is nothing wrong with a realtor making a profit, and deciding on which markets to specialize. Like most of us, they would like to earn a decent living… and are entitled to it.
