Anybody ever stay here? Pearl of the Osa and Iguana Lodge? They claim to be the most beautiful beach of costa Rica (on the east facing side of Osa Peninsula) … we’re committing to stay our 7 days in CR by their web site, but I am looking for some additional information. Any help here?
alternative is the Corocvado side of Osa, at a Corocvado Tent Lodge or Las Caletas. Any comments amigos?
I’ll give my commentary upon return of course!

We stayed at Pearl of the Osa in 2004. The beach was great, the tide moved so far out, past the pier. I spent an afternoon in the hammock and was feasted upon by sand fleas. It was worth it! They have kayaks for rent and we went all through the mangroves over a spit and back around. Great place, highly recommended.
We stayed at Corcovado Tent camp 2 years ago. It was a wonderful & remote spot that you have to walk in to from the beach (30 min walk) while a horse cart pulls your luggage. It’s visually stunning & only 10 minutes (walk) from the more remote southern end of Corcovado Park. Lots of wildlife & birds. The accomodation is basic but comfortable with private tents & small decks (you’re not on the ground). The beach is huge, deserted & idyllic. The food is terrific – very fresh & the most delicious tropical juices at every meal.
I’d highly recommend it for a memorable experience.
