    Hello:
    Can anyone recommend an attorney in or near Tamarindo to handle real estate purchase? Needs to speak English (my Spanish is not perfect yet).

    Jose Silva at P&D Lawyers, in Tamarindo across from east end of Auto Mercado.

    Jose Silva, Gabriel Chaves and Paul Oporta all work together at P&D and who I would also recommend in that area. Good luck!

    A good friend of mine used an attorney from san jose for the closing here near tamarindo. I helped her with translation throughout the process since i am fluent. This attorney is very good and detailed oriented.
    I personally had a bad experience with an attorney accross from auto mercado. But the name is not mentioned on this thread
