I hope I have done everything possible to search through messages to find this information so that I don’t waste anyone’s time.
I have tried to find this discussion for the last thirty minutes to no avail.
Just about every statement I have read suggests to have someone refer you to an attorney and/or accountant. So, we have no one else to ask.
We are planning on creating a corporation, opening a bank account, and purchasing property and need a good honest attorney, accountant, and even an architect. We cannot afford the pricey hot-shot attorneys and would love to find someone “down to earth” we can become well aquainted with over the years to come.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We will not hold you accountable but, we would really appreciate any help possible.
Thank you!
Don’t believe we have San Ramon attorneys listed anywhere on this site.
The best professionals of practically every profession are located in San Jose which is not that far from you in San Ramon
‘Down to earth’ is good but you are less likely to find a bilingual ‘down to earth’ professional, the further you go from San Jose.
You will find articles by an accountant called ‘Randall Zamora’ on this site as well as about a dozen articles by attorney Jose Rafael Fernandez, both are very professional, bilingual, ‘down to earth’ and have dozens of our VIP Members as very satisfied clients.

Thank you so very much Scott! I will follow through with these two leads. Thank you for all of the support!
Scott’s right. While I like San Ramon and live here, I personally stick to San Jose for legal representation. They are often better educated, are bilingual and seem to be more sophisticated. In fact, you should never use the seller’s attorney! I’ve used First Costa Rican Title & Trust (www.firstcr.com) for several closings and have had excellent success with them. Yes, you’ll pay a little more for a San Jose attorney but I think it’s worth it–“penny-wise and pound foolish right?”
