Can any one give me a reference good/bad on using the services of an attorney named Lic. Alberto Castillo B.
Attorney At Law ??
please reply
Few people in Costa Rica will give you a negative reference in a public Discussion Forum – I don’t believe I have ever done business with him so cannot give you my feedback.

Just dont give the guy any money in advance. Worst that can happen is you waste some time. If you are in a realestate transaction, you may be asked to give the seller money in advance, dont do it!
Stay in control of your transaction. Make sure your contract is bilingual spanish on the left side of the paper and english right.
Hope this gives you some insight.
If it is an escrow deposit situation see if he is on the us embassy approved attorney list, contact the embassy for this.
Believe me, differences pop up where you cant imagine, like for example if a contract says lamps are not included with the furniture, dont be surprised if every light outside and inside the house are taken out before closing.
Good luck
pura watever hahah
