    Does anyone have experience or know of anywhere in Costa Rica where a licensed pilot can rent a small plane for any period of time?

    I have rented a small aircraft with pilot sveral times at Pavas Airport in San Jose. I believe there are companies there who will rent to you for self-piloting. Just go in and ask around the hangers. Fly-boys are always friendly to same.

    Along this line of thought, anyone flown in a small plane into the country and know about hanger space in SJO or any other place close the central valley?
