Hi Folks,
I am hoping someone can help me with van rental info. Last I knew was that the largest sized rentable van was a 12 passenger one, and if one needs one larger, he’d have to use some turismo type van with a hired driver. If I were to look into a 12 passenger one, does anyone have any suggestions as to who to rent from and how much it might cost?
And if I were to hire a van company, what kind of cost/situation would I be looking at. Thannks
George Lundquist’s driver/12 passenger van is available for $300/day. Look under customized tours on his home page.
Google his name for the web address.

I rented a 14 passenger Nissan Urvan from economy car rental for 16 days in August. It was a disel which got good mileage and handled the hills very good. I paid considerably less than $300/day including insurance for it. I would rent from them again, I had a good experience with them and the vehicle. It is a large one to drive and was standard not automatic. You should be able to find an automatic. Mine was rented while the world surfing event was going on in August so these vehicles were pretty well leased up.
