Does anyone have information on the 60K residency requirement
for married couple extension? Has there actually been a new
deadline set for next year?
Thanks
Chet Ohrt
The law was made, but the enforcement has been tabled until 2007, from what I have read.
I keep tabs through online papers and websites as to changes and updates.

The information that I retained from the Chicago branch of the Costa Rica office said that all new applicants to have to fall into the new guide lines. The law is in place but the money is not alloted to enforcemnt for other aspects of the new law.
So if you are a new applicant for residency you will have to meet the $120,000 per couple plus $30,000 for each additional family memeber.
