actually, there IS no fashion here except less and lesser. the standard uniform is a camisole, worn with a push-up bra, and jeans in san ramon, and that goes for all ages from 12 – 60! i do agree that most of them have more flair than the standard sweatpants clad middle americans who go to the shopping mall with curlers in their hair! i’m just amazed at how much trouble the Ticas seem to go through to get that appearance. and never have i lived in a place where lingerie is such a big deal! and expensive, too! esp the stuff that comes from colombia — C24,000 for a lacy bra! sheesh. what happened to Hanes, and how do these Ticas afford those undergarments?
