Costa Rica has problem with telephons and signals like to know if any body try the Iridium Satellite phone wondering if will work in Costa Rica thanyou Antonic
Actually I think the cell phone reception in this country is way above average – far superior to that of Spain, particularly the South Coast Costa del Sol area. Also the radio reception here is perfect compared to Spain which makes me wonder why they have such a problem with it over there….
I too have no complaints about the cellphones here – great coverage and the cheapest telephone service I have ever encountered…

WeLoveCostaRica.comOn my last visit, I rented a cell phone when I picked up my rental car. If you are going to remain in the city, you will have coverage, but if youre going off the beaten path to search for real estate, youre better off with a cage full of carrier pigeons. Cost= 1 1/2 week rental was $80.00 for a phone that would not work when I needed it to.
