I understand you can’t work in businesses if you are not a permanent resident.
But can you sell things you have handmade or cooked at the open air markets or to businesses to resell?
My understanding is that as a nonpermanent resident you cannot legally sell at markets. If you are selling food products you much receive a Department of Health certificate for each item and must have a food handlers certificate. However a great depends on the market in question.
Locally, we had an expat selling at an open market. It was fine for months, then there was an argument with another seller who reported her to the police. She had to shut down because she was not a resident.
