    I’m new to CR- I guess it’s Independance Day, will all the banks, stores, ect., be closed– does anyone know??? TIA

    Yes, this is a very special day, here, and banks, government facilities, etc. will be closed.
    Most restaurants will be open, depending on where you live.
    Privately owned stores may be open, especially in the tourist areas.
