Just an FYI that there will be a special (NBC) regarding this story of the Panamanian Killers at 9 PM EST on Friday I just found out.
Reported today in the La Nacion newspaper:
Fiscalía investiga a ‘Salvaje Bill’ por homicidio en Limón
[ http://www.nacion.com/2010-11-10/Sucesos/NotasSecundarias/Sucesos2584884.aspx ]
The Ticos have started investigating to see if “Wild Bill” was responsible for a murder which occurred in Puerto Viejo in 2006
Costa Rica has become outright dangerous.

Would you care to qualify that statement a bit more since this thread is about a serial killer who is an American citizen?
I think he means to be alert to the dangers posed by Americans in Costa Rica. It’s not such bad advice.
Many newcomers feel that if someone speaks English that the person is honest. Not true of course, as many of us have learned.
And, unfortunately, this is a common occurrence, especially in the selling of real estate.
Boy! Ain’t that the truth!
